When You Cant Write in the Rain
When You Can't Write in the RainThere are several things you need to keep in mind when writing in the rain. It could be one of the worst situations for a writer. Not only is it awkward but you will also find that the situation could get quite wet.You will have to write and rewrite at least three times before you can get it right. This can make you add to the tension because you know you can't get your piece to be perfect in the first go. It is important not to write like this. Think about the situation instead and try to get a better handle on it.One of the most important things is to try to use more than one font. The different styles mean you can use your favorite font on the upper right hand corner of the page and use the words in a different font over the top. It gives it a more structured look. Sometimes it can even look a bit too much. This gives it a more refined look.Try to read more short stories instead of novels. Novels are longer. They take longer to get through. It is ea sier to put your thoughts in a novel so that you can feel more involved with it.Start out by writing all the sections of your story in a sequence. This will help make the whole thing flow and make it more streamlined. Start with the beginning then work your way to the end. This will cut down on what you have to write.Make sure you have to cover all the points in the hard section. This means you need to write a paragraph about every single point in the story. You can also use a story outline so that you can see where you are going and where you are ending up.Use a large room or a computer if it is going to be on the desk. It will give you a lot more options for writing. It will make your writing a lot easier to manage.Always keep in mind that the importance of getting the writing right lies in the length of the piece. Long pieces are hard to write in the rain. If it takes you more than fifteen minutes to write a small piece you should probably skip it. You may get through the rain bu t the quality of your writing will suffer.
